Ayse Selin Kocaman

Selin received her B.S. degree from the Industrial Engineering Department of Bogazici University in Turkey and M.S. degree in Operations Research from the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) department of Columbia University. She is currently a PhD student in Columbia University Earth and Environmental Engineering Department. In the Energy Planning Group, she is working on infrastructure planning, with a focus on optimization of rural energy networks. In 2011, she was awarded with first place in  Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) College of Sustainable  Operations Ph.D. Proposal Award Competition.
