Philip worked as a Research Intern at Modi Research Group where he assisted in data analyzes  or the Earth Institute and UN cosponsored Millennium Village Projects. Philip also sits in Research Advisory team that periodically evaluates and reviews the progress of MVPs infrastructure division projects. Philip has over five years development related research work experience in rural areas of Kenya in the fields of Energy, Environment and Agricultural development.

Philip Holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Policy from Columbia University, New York and a Collaborative Masters Degree in Applied Economics from the Universities of Pretoria, South Africa and Nairobi Kenya and a Bachelors degree in Mathematics also from the University of Nairobi.
